This game teaches human rights due diligence (HRDD): how businesses find, prevent and address harm to people. It uses the international guides linked below. It does not test the laws of a particular country. The companies, people, documents and numbers are invented. Each question has a best answer for the facts given. Real situations need further investigation.
For teachers: allow about 20 minutes to play individually or in pairs, followed by 10 minutes of discussion. Ask students to explain their choice before checking the answer. Afterwards, ask: which information changed your decision, what else do you need to know, and who in the company should take action?
Students receive one point for each best answer selected before reading the explanation. They can review every answer afterwards. The game does not ask for names or send results to a teacher. Answers disappear when the page is refreshed or closed. At the end, students can print or save their results and written plan as a PDF.
